Using The DJ App

You may use the app only if you can form a binding agreement and comply with applicable laws, venue rules, and age restrictions. The website launch and private-beta signup is for people age 18 or older. Keep your login secure and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Your content and our license

You retain ownership of content you submit. By uploading or publishing content, you represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to do so. You grant The DJ App a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, publicly perform, and display that content as reasonably needed to operate, secure, improve, and promote the service. Promotional use applies to content you make public, designate for promotion, or submit for that purpose; it does not turn private messages into public advertising. This license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, except for reasonable backup, legal, safety, and previously authorized promotional uses.

Community standards

Do not post content you do not have permission to use; impersonate others; exploit or endanger minors; harass, threaten, stalk, discriminate against, or expose private information about another person; promote violence, illegal drugs, fraud, trafficking, unsafe activity, or unlawful conduct; or publish malicious code, spam, deceptive promotions, or manipulated reviews. We may filter, restrict, preserve, review, report, or remove content and may block accounts when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, or enforcement. Reporting content does not guarantee a particular outcome.

Listings and third parties

Venue, event, DJ, travel, guest list, and music information may come from users, partners, public sources, or demo data. Confirm important details directly with the organizer. External links and third-party services are governed by their own terms.

Bookings, tips, tickets, giveaways, and guest lists

The private beta does not process real payments unless a screen expressly identifies a live transaction and provides final terms. Demo confirmations are not reservations, tickets, contracts, payment receipts, prize awards, or guarantees of admission. Organizers control admission, age, dress, capacity, cancellation, refund, prize, and entry rules. Promotions and giveaways may have separate official rules and eligibility requirements.

Safety

Nightlife involves inherent risks. Use judgment, follow venue and local rules, protect your belongings, arrange safe transportation, and do not rely on the app for emergencies. Call local emergency services when necessary.

Acceptable use

You may not probe, scan, attack, reverse engineer, or bypass security; scrape or harvest data without written permission; introduce malware; automate abusive activity; interfere with users or infrastructure; evade access controls; manipulate ratings, rankings, referrals, achievements, tickets, tips, or giveaways; submit fraudulent listings or identities; resell access; or use the service to violate law or third-party rights. Security research requires prior written authorization.

Communications

When you request launch or beta updates, you consent to receive the selected emails. If you separately opt in to text messages, The DJ App may send beta, launch, and related update texts to the mobile number you provide. Consent to texts is optional and is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to end texts or HELP for help. You may unsubscribe from email using the link in an email or by contacting us. Transactional or account-security messages may still be sent when necessary to provide an account or complete a request.

Feedback

If you send ideas or feedback, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use them without restriction or compensation. This does not transfer ownership of your separate uploaded music, photos, videos, or other creative content.

Our name and branding

The DJ App™ name, music-note mark, logos, interface designs, text, graphics, and other branding are owned by or licensed to The DJ App and its operators. Except for rights expressly granted in these terms, you may not copy, imitate, register, sell, or use them in a way that suggests sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement without written permission. The ™ symbol indicates a claimed trademark; it does not represent federal registration.

Suspension and termination

We may restrict or remove content or accounts that create risk, violate these terms, or threaten the service. You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time.

Disclaimers and liability

The beta is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, matches, earnings, attendance, admission, prizes, or the accuracy, safety, legality, availability, identity, or conduct of third-party venues, organizers, DJs, users, listings, or linked services. You remain responsible for your decisions, uploads, communications, agreements, transportation, and compliance with law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, The DJ App and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, personal arrangements, or third-party conduct arising from the service.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The DJ App and its operators from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your content, conduct, transactions, violation of these terms, or infringement of another person's rights.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after an effective-date update means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law.
